ninnyliver has gone through a lot of shoes. Dan and Neil have been writing a long time now; some of this stuff was supposed to come out 20 years ago, and some of it was written in the last few months. A lot of life has been stripped and distilled and concentrated into 12 moments. Love, loss, love, moves, kids, more moves, more love. But you know it's true: all worth it to get a good song.

The first single, Outwest, was born from struggle. Lonely acoustic demos reveal the heart and the final mix delivers the hard, effectual soul. This is more than just a road ballad as ninnyliver sing about boundaries, attachment, losing and maybe even (one day) winning. But just like frogs and humor, dissecting a song kills it, so enough talk, go check it out. And then get excited, as the upcoming debut album Life vs. Limb has 11 other songs that are probably better.
